Allen Harris Sr. was born on January 4, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia.  He was born the 5th child of 6 siblings to the late Mr. Marvin and Mrs. M. Elizabeth Harris. At the age of 19, in 1973 while attending a revival ,  he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior.  Shortly after his conversion, he joined Tabernacle of Prayer for all People under the leadership of Dr. M.M. Terry,  where he remained and served faithfully until the Holy Spirit let him further.  Twenty years after receiving salvation , in November of 1993, he became a member of The Way of The Cross Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late , Dr. Lewis E. Hines of Norfolk, Virginia.  This great man of God believed in the family structure and taught the importance of having balance between ministry and family. It was the continuous training and the application of teachings such as practical Christian Living , having the God kind of faith, and understanding the meaning of true servant hood that positioned Bishop Harris to become the Assistant Pastor for the ministry.  He served in this position from 2004-2008.  While serving as Assistant Pastor, Bishop enrolled in North Carolina College of Theology.  In 2009 , he received his doctoral Degree in Theology-Biblical studies, graduating CUM Laude.  In 2008 Dr. A.L. Harris became the Founding Pastor of Life Line Ministries. Services began in his home as he taught around the kitchen table and began to share the vision of the ministry with his wife of 32 years; Elder Lovie Harris , their 2 sons Roland 7, and Allen Jr. along with 5 other people.  As services grew, they moved to the garage of their home which sat about 20 people.  After a week of having service in their garage, Bishop received a call about sharing a sanctuary located at 5121 Virginia Beach , Virginia.  Lifeline shared this space for about 6 months as we continued to grow.  On January 4th, 2009 , Life Line began to have worship  services in the Ballroom of the Norfolk, Airport Hilton.  The late Dr. Barnett K. Thoroughgood became the covering for Dr. Harris and the ministry.  In 2009 Dr. Harris secured a location at 2401 Bainbridge Blvd, where they held services and many outreach initiatives until October 2017.  Bishop Harris is yet expanding the kingdom in our new location at 130 Virginia Beach , Virginia.  Bishop declares that, "everywhere he gos , he serves one of the greatest churches in the world." He is the founding President of the Citywide Pastors Crusade Association (CPCA), an association of pastors and and churches with a collaborative effort to win the lost while building up the saints by way of tent revivals, street meetings, seminars and conferences.  Bishop Harris is a teacher at heart, and in 2017 served as Adjunct Professor at Priesthood Seminary of Faith World Ministries.  Bishop currently provides spiritual coverings for churches in some of the Virginia cities; Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach, and also in the states of Maryland and Texas.  Bishop Harris and Elder.
